Berselli And Olivieri 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Review

Berselli And Olivieri 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Review 20151213_194024.jpg

Imported from Italy and distributed by Alma Wines, Berselli and Olivieri’s cabernet sauvignon is a nice wine to drink on its on or paired with a meal.

The wine itself has a beautiful red texture. Hints of earthy, oaky flavors and dark fruits such as plums and black cherries resonate down to the end of each sip.

Although cabernet sauvignons tend to be full-bodied, this semi-dry wine is lighter and refreshing. The wine does not feel languished or heavy, but rather refreshing, light, and crispy.  Finally, the wine itself is smooth with almost no acidic or mineral after-taste.

For food pairings, heavy and/or spicy foods tend to be favorable for this type of wine. Given this is imported from Italy, Italian pastas and dishes with heavy sauces are a natural choice. However, this wine would go very well with entrees such as Indian, Mexican, steaks, or chop entrees.

All Vineyards enjoyed this bottle of cabernet sauvignon imported from Italy and believe it is one of the better ones you can find.
